OCR Rally was born from a friendship built within the classic car industry. With over 60 years experience in the industry between them, and over a decade of working together preparing historic rally cars and other vehicles, Gary and Ben have a keen passion for all things classic car. They had gone their separate ways until 2023 where they were given the opportunity to open OCR Rally after restoring a Cortina for a customer for the Monte Carlo rally.

"This weekend was the Cotswold Historic through the fabulous Oxfordshire countryside, organised by the Tavern Motor Club. Alongside six regularity sections covering over 90 miles, we tackled eight fast tests, mainly on concrete airfields – not exactly ideal for an Amazon and much better suited to Minis and MGBs!

However, Bluey behaved brilliantly. We took on plenty of slaloms without knocking a single cone, and once again Bluey didn't miss a beat. We finished the rally without any issues and are now looking forward to our next event in Wales, where there'll be plenty of gravel surfaces!"
